Have you ever heard of the word “palindrome”? I’m guessing perhaps not. It isn’t a very common word to encounter in everyday conversation but, it is kind of fun so today I thought we could talk about what it is. A palindrome is a word that has the same spelling from both ends. The word “racecar” is a good example. If you read it backwards, it still spells the word racecar. Can you think of a few other palindromes on your own? I can give you a couple to start. For example, “eve” or “redder” are palindromes. Next time you have a chat with me, tell me if you thought of some other palindromes!
