Today, I would like to share these words that are famous in Japan
(Koketsu ni irazunba koji wo ezu)
In English we have a similar phrase which is “Nothing ventured, nothing gained.”
In other words, you can’t do anything without risking something. What do you think of these words? Are you sometimes afraid to take risks? I know that sometimes I am. I think we all have experienced a situation when we want to do something but, we are afraid of the risks so we give up. In my experience, I have found that NOT doing something you really want to do can give you feelings of regret. In my opinion, regret is much worse than fear. In life, chance and opportunity sometimes come only once. I would like you to encourage you to ignore fear and follow your heart. However, always think about how your actions will affect other people. If you live a life in fear of failure, in fear of trying new things, you will live a life of regret. I think it is important to live your life so that you have no regrets. You might fail sometimes but that’s OK too. Failure can sometimes be the best teacher we have!
